The waffle was so stale and hard that it broke my fork. Pics to prove. Also, there's no place to eat the waffle. There seemed to be tables in the other pics, but they were nowhere to be found

The sweets are nice and it is represented so nicely and inviting. It is worth taking a look and try some bits.

Overpriced tourist trap. Beware, late at night they double the prices and trap unsuspecting tourists. I was charged 9 euro for a cake that I was going to give to my adult friend I was caring for because he cannot order for himself. The cake was badly baked and he was so upset he needed a McDonald’s flurry to make him feel better. It ruined our evening.

In this place i had really a bad experience. I entered it because of the nice decoration but after i regretted it because of how the stuff there was simply mega unprofessional.In addition to mention they refuse to give us metal forks, spoons and dishes. Everything was in cartoon and Paper, although he had everything behind his back. Finally the food was not that good.I highly don’t recommend going there.

Don‘t go there!!! Prices are insane! And the food is horrible! It looks very good but its not! I think I know why its called „ice bakery“, because everything is frozen and then only getting thawed!

The ice cream scoops are small:( I would’ve posted a photo of the Double Scoop ice cream cone I purchased, but by the time I taken out my phone to take a picture I have already finished my cone:(

Over priced food and shoddy service. The guy did not pay attention to our order, (too busy bouncing off the walls shouting and chatting people up). Then seemed to add a few extra euros to the price. Nearly 20 euros for something you'd get anywhere else at half the price (a half cooked crepe and a soggy oreo cake). The seating area was a state too. Melted chocolate, sticky floors and a surface that looks like its never been wiped. Feel like i've been mugged.

Despite all the horrible reviews, I had the most wonderful time there! We walked in to see a man making hot waffles and they where delicious. After we got the waffles, we sat down and enjoyed the shop for a while. It was homey and nice to sit in and relax. There was also a man just baking behind the counter and though he never spoke to us, he was very smiley and appeared welcoming. Would definitely recommend the flat waffle thingies 😊👍

Had a waffle with strawberries and cream on Kingsday last year. It was super busy, I had fantastic service, and the waffle was amazing.

Overpriced. I paid 11 euros for a cold waffle. Cookies were soggy as if they have been exposed for a while. It is just a tourist trap

Very very expensive... we choose two types of desserts and one sparking water which cost as €21.50 which from Dam square the same things cost as €12When I ask for the receipt, they spoke with their language which I understand it very much. This was my 4th time in Amsterdam but the first time to the shop but definitely I will NOT visit again for sure. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

i’ve wanted to try their churros for ages and when i finally did yesterday i was extremely disappointed. they taste like fried soggy cardboard with a homeopathic dose of sugar on top and all of that for a ridiculous price. don’t go there it’s a rip off and the “quality” is a joke.

Don’t eat or work there. There are better places. Maybe you will be lucky enough to get a fresh croissant in the morning perhaps they will be from the day before. Nothing else is fresh and the place is full of mice and birds walking inside eating left overs. Biggest tourist trap and ripoff ever. The manager treats staff with no respect and looking at female customers in a disgusting way.

How in gods name can a crepe and a brownie be worth 17 euro? It was also the most average tasteless crepe I have ever had and the owner seemed to be high on something. Do yourself a favour and just go to McDonald's instead.

Absolutely exploitative, charge extra if you sit down, but do not advise you of additional cost. The menus are very confusing and this appears to be deliberate. Very small portions and incredibly deceptive.

I had a nice breakfast here outside on the patio and dessert crepes in the evening. Such great crepes with nutella and banana. The service was very good from the girl with black/red hair and the guy with the ponytail. Thank you!

Lovely Place from the outside.The only nice and capable waiter was a nameless black guy.There were a lot of people coming later which were faster served.After waiting way to long, we wanted to pay the consumed articles. They wanted bill us even beverages will did not consume.The manager, a spineless person who was not interested in dialogue, proposed us the next time to visit MC Donald's, which would fit us better.Secret: He is right, they have a much better rating than this restaurant.

CARE!! The moment you order something, the price displayed is no longer valid. Somehow they understand when we order, but can't speak when asked about the price difference. Save your money since it's worth more and take it somewhere else in this beautiful city.

Apple cake and coffee were very expensive but tastes OK. But they don’t have a bathroom, the WiFi doesn’t work and the interior seating is quite unpleasant.

Sly and misleading price. Ordered a €3 advertised cappuccino, ended up paying €5. The place does not look that hygienic either.

Waffle was stale and tasteless. Threw it straight in the bin. 7 euros wasted.

I had a dark chocolate crepe and it was delicious! Desserts in the case didn't look so great (stale and sweaty), but my crepe was great.

Nice decorated place, but they don’t usually get your order right, I ordered a strawberry with Nutella Crepes, and in a instant of distraction... I got a banana Nutella. It wasn’t worth it to argue with it, and it wasn’t any tasty and a good experience!
